I know my mom doesn’t let people in easily or often, and I know that it can be frustrating to see someone so brilliant seem to be so short-sighted politically, but I also know your friendship has been a beautiful, valuable, important part of her life. I’m so glad you two found each other. I’m so glad you’re able to remain friends despite profound political/ideological differences. You’re both amazing women, and I’m honored to know you.
