I was with a friend this weekend and talking about the Tiger Woods scandal and the Sandra Bullock nightmare. She was out to dinner with friends a week ago, and one of the guys said the following relating to Sandra and Jesse.
“Good girl meets bad boy.”
“Bad boy marries good girl.”
“Good girl continues to be good.”
“Bad boy continues to be bad.”
He then shrugged his shoulders like, “Where is the surprise?”
It’s come out in the news that Elin asked Tiger before they got married if he could change his ways and he said, “Yes.” Everywhere I went this weekend, everyone was talking about the Tiger infidelity all over again. Here is the thing.
Good girl meets bad boy. Good girl marries bad boy. Bad boy continues to be bad, and good girl continues to be good. And, the surprise?
There isn’t any. No more surprised outrage guys. We look so stupid.
